I have to be honest and say I do have a soft spot for house music, especially something that has all the melodic intricacies and flavour to keep you engrossed. Domestique encapsulates this perfectly whilst also making you want to get up and dance. The song has an essence of a UK garage beat in the first build up underneath the beautiful vocals. The drop is impactful but not aggressively in your face. It emanates a confidence in Domestiques production skills as he knows he doesn't need to slap the listeners about to get their attention. The synthesizers are well balanced within the mix of the song and do so well to help it progress along with the drums flooding any available space with a brilliantly bright sound. Like a sunrise for your ears it feels fresh and full of optimism. It's such a brilliant feel good song. I love the vocal stutter effect as well that's used towards the end of the track that bounces between your ears and scratches an itch in your brain that you didn't even realise was there.
Domestique clearly has a lot of talent listening to this song and his others that he has on his Spotify profile. The music is progressive without feeling boring or too long and it's clear he has an extensive knowledge of music as well as production.
Really enjoyed listening to this and will definitely be recommending his music to my more club based friends for sure.
