When this popped into my inbox my curiosity was well and truly peaked. I love hearing new music but something that is completely individual in its musical journey as well as its sound is like a unicorn! P crema is a chiptune musician, he makes music on a Commodore Amiga home computer from the late 80's / early 90's. He does this in ProTracker, a tracker from the late 80's, nd sample from his C64 and a couple of casiotones from the early 80's. For those that are still a little confused think 80's video games and '8 bit' music.
The one thing I adore about this project is that it's very clearly one that Fabio has started and continues out of a pure love for the process and end resulting music. It sounds so different and is truly a blast from the past for those who can remember 8 bit video games and their accompanying music. For me it's the nostalgia that I remember seeing in my dad's face when he introduced me to his old favourite video games when I was a kid myself.
All in all this really is something so so cool and made all the better by the fact that it is truly fuelled by passion. Have a listen to his latest release on Spotify 'turtle rain' and check out the other songs on there too.
